September 1st and I have already spotted big tins of chocolates & biscuits creeping out onto the shop floors so it wont be long before Christmas wrapping paper & cards are hitting the shelves!
Christmas parties and gift lists will soon be organised and thoughts of how to feel festive nearer the date will be on everyone's minds .... cue the Christmas wreath workshop!
Walking into a room full of the scents of pine, cinnamon & oranges is a perfect way to start the festivities. Beautiful seasonal foliage's, dried fruits, pine cones & gorgeous ribbon's combine to create a stunning wreath to hang on your door.
My workshops are relaxed, fun and small ensuring you get all the guidance you need. I will provide you with a moss covered copper frame base & talk you through all the steps that will allow you to create a long-lasting natural wreath full of foliage's, before you choose from a large selection of decoration's & ribbon's to top it off. Come with friends or make new ones & learn a new skill over a cuppa & festive treat or glass of fizz on the evening. No experience is needed at all.
The workshops will be running at some really lovely venues.
The Cosy Dungeon room at The George in Backwell, a country pub set just outside Bristol
Barley Wood House in Wrington, an eighteenth century country house within 11 acres of woods & parkland - a stunning countryside setting in rural Somerset.
The Porthouse Room at Clevedon Pier - a porthole window that gives full length view under the structure of the pier out to
the estuary and beyond a stunning spot!
I can also offer private workshops in your home or a venue of your choice, please contact me for details.
